Daniel K. Inouye International Airport - Lobby 3 TSA Checkpoint

Newest HNL checkpoint heralded for intuitive journey via seamless connectivity to gate concourses.

SCOPE OF WORK

KYA designed a modern, four-lane TSA security screening checkpoint specifically for Hawaiian Airlines passengers, alleviating pressure on the outdated existing checkpoint. The design incorporates modern finishes and materials, aligning with broader airport improvement initiatives and enhancing the passenger experience.

The project demanded extensive coordination among state, federal, and corporate stakeholders, further complicated by a tight schedule. The design team faced the challenge of fitting a security checkpoint into an existing airport structure while adhering to strict checkpoint guidelines.

KYA leveraged established relationships with similar project experience to complete the project on time and within budget.
