Getting to the Big Game

The Aloha Stadium rail station is expected to be the most highly used station in the entire Honolulu Rail System. The station will be used to travel to and from events at the Aloha Stadium and will also be included in a 600 stall Park and Ride lot for commuters to use. The station's design is meant to compliment nearby Halawa Valley, featuring native plants and an entry plaza designed to celebrate the ancient Hawaiian season of Makahiki. Travelers will enter across a brass inlay pattern of a constellation used by native Hawaiians to navigate across the Pacific Ocean and identify the arrival of seasons.
