KYA's Kara Toma represents at the 3rd Re-Lei Design Competition

KYA’s interior designer Kara Toma completed a spectacular lei made from discarded magazines to promote awareness of recycling as part of the 3rd Re-Lei Design Competition. Her entry was complemented heavily and displayed at the city’s Lei Day celebration. All lei’s made also received news coverage on Living in the 808 and were part of a fashion show at the Honolulu Art Museum. Proceeds from the competition support the landscape architecture program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa School of Architecture. KYA wishes congratulations to all the entries who poured hours of hard work into their elegant and resourceful designs.
