To meet the updated pharmacy regulations of USP 797 and USP 800, KYA, Inc. worked closely with The Queen’s Medical Center in a redesign effort of their Inpatient Pharmacy to achieve an efficient solution and meet an accelerated schedule. The project involved the expansion and reconfiguration of the Pharmacy Clean Rooms and served to improve the flow and efficiencies of the pharmacy support areas. Our work included design for a permanent modular clean room unit consisting of an Ante Room, IV Buffer Room, HD Ante Rm, HD Buffer Room, and a Non-sterile Compound Room. The design will be achieved in four construction phases to allow the pharmacy operations to continue throughout the duration of construction.
